In October 2022, we launched our new PROGEF PP-H Unions (see Information IS 14/22). New unions and single union items are available in the dimensions d75, d90 and d110mm. Key solutions and customer benefits are the following:
- Fully injection-molded thread without post-machining steps which leads to less friction and easier assembly
- Improved thread design which leads to much better safety (e.g., against water hammers)
- Optimized dimensions and substantial improvement on weldability and re-weldability for all industrial fusion machines
UPDATE – New O-Ring items are now available for the 18 new PROGEF Standard and 12 PROGEF Plus unions and have been successfully implemented as spare parts for global Sales. Please find the extended data sheets with code numbers for EPDM & FKM O-Rings in attached
IMPORTANT to note is that the new thread design is not compatible with the existing version. In our prior product Information IS 12/22, we communicated that we offer the previous unions and single items for a transition period of one year until October 2023. The transition period has been extended until 31/03/2024.This means, customers can decide whether to purchase the previous or the new version by selecting the respective code number. Please do pro-actively inform your customers about the changes and do also proactively clarify last-buy amounts: orders for the old design must be placed to us not later 31/03/2024.
