GF Piping Systems is expanding the FlowtraMag line of flowmeters with two new sizes to fit pipe sizes DN40 (1.5 in.) and DN80 (3 in.), now available with EPDM seals and a new redesigned look. The PVC body with Hastelloy® C or Titanium electrodes make the FlowtraMag meter ideally suited for water and many compatible chemicals. The meter is designed specifically for high accuracy flow measurement in short pipe runs. The thermoplastic body construction provides superior corrosion resistance for long, maintenance-free service life. Available in pipe sizes DN25 (1 in.), DN40 (1.5 in.), DN50 (2 in.), DN80 (3 in.) and DN100 (4 in.) PVC Schedule 80, the FlowtraMag is two to three times lighter in weight compared to traditional metal magmeters on the market. The unit offers accuracy of ±1% of reading and repeatability of ±0.5%. Streamlined monitoring and complete versatility are provided via the meter’s broad communications capabilities across multiple platforms. These include digital (S3L), Frequency, analog 4 to 20 mA, Smartphone/Tablet (Bluetooth®), and PC (Digital S3L) via the 0252 Configuration Tool. Users can configure and calibrate the 2581 to the parameters required for their system using the GF Configuration Tool Bluetooth® App. The App, which is available for both Android and iOS devices, can be used to adjust averaging, low flow cut off and to span the 4 to 20 mA output among other settings as well as for monitoring the 2581 FlowtraMags.
