The new MPTFE (modified PTFE) Profile Gasket impresses with additional advantages: excellent chemical resistance and minimal leach-out with a very smooth surface.

• Extremely smooth surface, minimal leachout and excellent chemical resistance

• Suitable for contact with food (conforms to FDA 21 § 177.15 50)
Production / Logistic
The MPTFE Profile Gasket can already be ordered and will be available from stock from around mid-July.
The MPTFE Profile Gaskets with EPDM Profile Gasket inside and up to dimension d315 will be in stock.
For the largest MPTFE Profile Gaskets and for the MPTFE Profile Gaskets with FKM inside a delivery time of approx. 4 weeks is expected.
Mounting the envelope on the Profile Gasket can cause the envelope to ripple (see picture below). This is completely normal and does not affect
the tightness and the performance.
The MPTFE Profile Gaskets have successfully passed the following tests:
• Vacuum: -0.8 bar / 1 h
• 1000h pressure test for 16 bar
