We are proud to announce the sales release of the new generation of the CONTAIN-IT Plus EPDM- Couplers. Due to quality issues in Q3/2020 we were actively looking for an alternative solution.
GF CONTAIN-IT Plus pressure less PVC-U (transparent) outer pipe system is from now on available with the new fully approved EPDM couplers and offers even more features for the CONTAIN-IT Plus system:

Thanks to the new screw positioning, installation is much more convenient.

Thanks to the new design of the EPDM-Couplers, radial movements can be absorbed
General Information – Installation
CONTAIN-IT Plus PVC-U (transparent) outer pipe system is a splash protection double containment solution up to 1 bar in the monitoring room. The released coupler have been tested in our laboratories with 1.2bar for 72 hours without any failure. The general guidelines of the planning fundamentals have to be considered besides the results of the static evidence and stress calculation. A fix-point installation is still mandatory for the safe installation of the DC-System (none-tensile tight couplers)!
Replacement and retired codes
Below table shows OLD vs NEW codes
Contain-IT Plus EPDM couplers in sizes d180 and above are retired without replacement
(see chart below)
for containment pipes of d180 and above we recommend to use containment pipes in PE100 jointed by means of Elgef Plus electrofusion couplers.

The CONTAIN-IT Plus couplers are released for sales and available with short lead-times. Product hierarchies and list prices are available on request.
